Reading- We focus on two skills: character traits and main idea. We will focus on main idea through nonfiction science texts relating to the Solar System.
Writing-We focus on writing paragraphs and how a piece of writing needs a good beginning, middle, and end. We also begin to focus on grammar such as punctuation, capitalization, and the characteristics of a good sentence.
Science-We continue learning about the Solar System. Students will begin to research characteristics of each planet!
Word Wall-children, can't, the, eating, what, night. We continue working on phonemic awareness activities to facilitate good spelling.
