What's My Child Learning This Week?
Math-We are taking a look at probability- the odds that something may or may not happen. We will learn vocabulary words such as most likely, least likely, and equally likely.
Reading-We are beginning a unit on character traits. We will also review story elements (character, setting, problem, solution).
Social Studies-We are learning about our department, Lempira!
Writing- We continue learning how to get ideas for writing.
Word Wall/Spelling- Our words for this week: because, school, when, what, who
Tests/Quizzes
- Vocabulary quiz on the story "David's New Friends" this Wednesday, September 2nd.
- Word Wall quiz Friday, September 4th.
