What's My Child Learning This Week?
Reading- We continue with cause and effect. We are finishing the story Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type.
Math-We continue with double-digit subtraction. We also begin focusing on feet and inches (measurement). We will review these skills through problem solving.
Social Studies-We begin our unit on past, present, and future. Our story focus will be Little House in the Big Woods from the social studies textbook.
Writing-Students begin writing Valentine mail. We also continue with cursive writing.
Word Wall- don't, kicked, one, won, won't (We are reviewing contractions, regular past tense, and homophones.)

* Word Wall quiz Friday, February 5th.
*Double-digit subtraction quiz Friday.
*Subtraction timed test Thursday, February 4th.
*Cause and effect quiz Thursday, February 4th. (Study guide went home today.)
