What's My Child Learning This Week?

Reading- We continue with multiple-meaning words/context clues. We continue with "Teach Us, Bedelia Amelia".

Math- We review double-digit addition and subtraction strategies/fact families.

Science- We begin learning about fossils. We continue with dinosaur characteristics. Student begin their dinosaur diorama projects.

Writing- Students begin writing personal narratives.

*Timed test Friday.

*Reading quiz on basic comprehension skills Thursday, January 14th. (main idea, story
elements, sequencing, vocabulary, context clues)

*Math quiz on fact families and double-digit addition.
